Project overview

This website is the online business card for Body Central Breda, focused on personal training and pregnancy fitness. The site is aimed at local visitors in Breda and the surrounding area who are looking for personal guidance, and especially for a trustworthy provider of Pregnant & Fit coaching.

The main goal was to build trust and make it immediately clear which services are offered, what the approach looks like, and how interested visitors can get in touch quickly.

Collaboration

The owner provided the initial copy and photography. In short feedback rounds, I translated that into a clear mobile-friendly layout that supports both her brand identity and her personal way of working.

Technical implementation

  • WinterCMS with a lightweight custom theme for easy content updates.
  • Tailwind CSS for fast, responsive styling without unnecessary bloat.
  • Simple contact form with server-side validation and spam protection.
  • Basic local SEO (structured data, meta-tags) to improve local search visibility.

Challenges

  • The website needed to create trust quickly in a market where personal connection and credibility matter a lot.
  • Services, pricing, and specialisms had to stay clear without making the page feel crowded.
  • Because many visitors search locally and on mobile, strong readability on smaller screens was especially important.

Result

The result is a clear local website that presents Body Central Breda professionally and helps visitors understand the available guidance quickly. In that sense, the site supports both visibility and a low-friction first step toward contact.

The website is still active as the online representation of the business, while a redesign and refactor are now being developed for a next phase.

Reflection

This project is a good example of how much simplicity and trust matter for smaller service businesses. When people are looking for personal guidance, a clear overview, a reliable visual presentation, and a direct path to contact make a real difference.
