Project overview

For Nomly, we built a landing page as the first online presence for a new hospitality platform. The goal was not to sell a fully mature product yet, but to test positioning, create early visibility, and collect waitlist signups from interested businesses.

Nomly is intended as a one-stop solution for smaller hospitality businesses, including restaurant owners, independent cafes, and smaller groups. The concept combines a CMS, front-end website, reservations, menu management, and marketing tools in one platform direction.

Collaboration

I worked closely with the founders to reduce the proposition to a clear and credible first message. The focus was less on listing every future feature and more on explaining the concept, the audience, and the main reason to join the waitlist.

Technical implementation

  • Built as a lightweight marketing website with a short path to the waitlist signup.
  • Set up in WinterCMS so the messaging and content can be expanded later without rebuilding the whole site.
  • Designed with Tailwind CSS for a fast front-end workflow and a consistent presentation.

Challenges

  • The main challenge was presenting a new product that was still in an early stage in a way that already felt clear and relevant to the market.
  • The page needed to support both SEO and conversion: discoverable enough for relevant searches, but above all simple and convincing for smaller hospitality businesses.
  • Because the product will be picked up further later this year, the landing page also had to remain a usable foundation for future expansion.

Result

The result is a compact landing page that gives Nomly a credible first presence and offers interested business owners a clear next step through the waitlist. In that sense, the site mainly supports market validation, positioning, and building early interest.

While the project is currently more on the shelf than actively being developed, this page still provides a solid starting point to build on later in the year.

Reflection

This project reinforced how important clear messaging and a simple conversion flow are for an early-stage product. When not everything is defined yet, the landing page still has to explain the core idea convincingly without overwhelming visitors with too much detail.
